NOVI SAD (kikindske.net/021) European commission program "Youth in action“ has been realised since last week in Kikinda and it’s called “Shoot your identity”. Around 30 young people from Portugal, Norway, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland and Serbia have come to Kikinda to promote information exchange, learning by doing skills, cross border cooperation, cultural differences and positive values of Europe.

Media camp is going to last 12 days. The participants are going to spend some time in Kikinda, Belgrade and Novi Sad. In Kikinda they will be divided into three teams and will be trained in filming, editing and making of short documentaries about identities, similarities and differences among young people from five European countries. Workshops are dedicated to European history and overcoming prejudice and stereotypes. Each team consists of a journalist, a producer, a cameraman and a team leader and they are going to make their own short documentary of how they perceive identity.

Maja Pažin from Stolac said that B&H team had made a documentary named “All different – All equal”.
